Posts: 440 Group: Leader Member #485 Joined: February 28, 2008	1. Introduction Summoning is the newest skill in runescape at the moment. It is a money based skill, it isn't cheap and cost in the millions to hundreds of millions for 99. Summoning is a combat based skill, it WILL effect your combat lvl and is very useful. Summoning doesn't "ruin" your combat, unless your a pure you should have a decent summoning level. 2. How do i begin summoning? To start summoning you need to do a the Wolf's whistle Quest, it isn't a length quest and is very easy. It starts you off as level 4 summoning. 3. Where to get charms? You can get charms from monster drops, throughout runescape monsters now drop charms. Some more than others, some with more better percentage of dropping charms. The most common places to get charms is off of slayer(Look at slayer guide soon to be made) You don't have to be killing your task for charms, you can get charms anywhere, ie: camping at a monster, killing monsters for money, etc. Another way to get charms, but more faster is by bursting rock lobsters. A more expensive way of getting charms, but is way faster and you get Magic Experience. Rock Lobsters are inside the Waterbirth dungeon leading into the Dagganoth Kings. Bursting charms is THE fastest way to get charms, but cost alot more. 4. Where do i train summoning and use my charms? Summoning is trained at Obelisks. you make familiars, to make familiars you need 4 things. A regular puch, the requiring shards, the charm, and the second item to make the familiar. Obelisks are all over runescape, but there are only some obelisks that allow you to make charms. There is one in Gu'Tanoth (South of Yanille), One near piscatorias, and one at the quest starting point, in Taverly. 5. What familiars do i make? Levels: 1-4 -> Wolf's Whistle Quest 4-18 -> Highest Gold charm familiar you can make 18-28 -> You can now start using Green Crimsons and Blue charms, make the highest familiars with your charms. 28-40 -> Keep using the highest familiar for your familiars, and make sure you are getting the most exp for your familiars. 40- 52 -> Save all your gold charms until your 52, and make bloated leeches, magpies etc with your crimsons, green and blue charms. 52-57+ -> Use all your Gold charms now and make terrorbirds, extremely cheap and very useful familiars. You are now in ease, now that you are level you won't have to keep running to a obelisk. You can now summon a Kyatt which teleports you right now to a obelisk, (fastest way to train summoning) Look here: The kyatt: 57-66 -> Use all your blue charms now and your green charms and save your gold charms once again 66-74 -> Now, save all your crimsons, and use your gold charms on barker toads, make bunyips and fruit bats for green charms and mithril minotaurs for your blue charms 74-79 -> Use all your crimsons now on granite crabs, and your green and gold charms. 79-85 -> Use all your blues, and gather more crimsons for granite crabs. 85-95 -> Use all crimsons on swamp titans, blues on geyser titans, it is best to use your gold on barker toads and not artic bears, and use fruit bats because it is less expensive. 95-99 -> Use your crimsons on iron titans untill 96, then use it on pack yaks, and keep using crimsons and your other charms to 99. 6. What do i do with my pouches? You can sell your pouches, which is advisable for the gold charms which have a low cost because of its low amount of spirit shards. But you can trade in your pouches for 70% of the spirit shards to the ogre in Gu'Tanoth (South of Yanille). Which can save you a lot of money. 7. You may have noticed that the only guide that is "done" is the Mining Guide, and that's because L4en29 had it saved from before. Even that isn't done, updates will be made upon it, so don't worry about the time.
